BOTOX

One of the signs of aging is the discovery of wrinkles on the face. Many wrinkles are formed due to excessive muscle contraction in the face (dynamic wrinkles). With age dynamic wrinkles can turn into persistent wrinkles, which are wrinkles that are visible when the face is at rest. This process occurs due to a decrease in collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

One of the therapies to reduce wrinkles can be botox injections. Botox is a natural, purified protein that relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkles, making them appear younger. Botox is derived from bacteria in much the same way that penicillin is derived from fungi.

Botox treatment is a non-surgical procedure, performed by a trained doctor. Normal activities can be done after the procedure. The effects of botox can last up to 4 months and can be repeated.
