Basic Child Immunization

IMMUNIZATION IMPLEMENTATION

Based on Permenkes No. 12 of 2017 Plus new vaccines for routine immunization

 

 

Hepatitis B (HB-0)

Works to prevent Hepatitis B disease. Administered at <24 hours of age (after the baby is born).

 

BCG

Serves to prevent TB disease in children. Administered to infants 1 month of age.

 

Polio Tetes (OPV)

Serves to prevent polio types 1 and 3. Administered at 1, 2, 3 and 4 months of age.

 

DPT-HB-Hib

Works to prevent diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Hepatitis B & Haemophilus Influenza B. Given at 2, 3, and 18 months of age.

 

IPV

Works to prevent type 2 polio disease. Administered at 4 and 9 months of age.

 

Campak Rubella / MR

Serves to prevent measles and rubella. Administered at age 9, 18 and grade 1.

 

PCV

Works to prevent pneumococcal infections such as meningitis and pneumonia. Administered at 2, 3 and 12 months of age.

 

Rotavirus*

Serves to prevent diarrheal disease caused by the Rota virus. Administered at 2, 3 and 4 months of age.

 

JE*

Works to prevent Japanese Enchepalitis disease. Administered at 10 months of age.
